Fare information: We offer three classes of travel — coach, excursion
and lounge. A coach ticket reserves you a seat in one of our 1920s
coach cars. These cars are not climate-controlled but have windows
that open and close. An excursion ticket reserves you a seat in our 1950's climate controlled coach car. A lounge ticket reserves you a seat in one
of our three First Class Pullman lounge cars and includes complimentary
snacks and soft drinks. The lounge cars are heated and air-conditioned.

Notice to passengers with disabilities: ASTA welcomes all passengers, including passengers with disabilities, and attempts to provide accommodations for all of its passengers. ASTA operates historic railroad equipment and the construction of the equipment limits accessibility. A wheelchair lift is available that can accommodate most wheelchairs and motorized chairs and lift these chairs and occupants from the boarding platform to the entry doors for the railroad cars. Entry doors maximum width is 24".
ASTA also has available a transfer chair to assist its passengers.
If a passenger is unable to move from a chair to one of the seats in the coach cars, the passenger should give advance notice to ASTA as there are limited areas where the passenger can be accommodated.
Please inform ASTA in advance of any special needs for a passenger and ASTA will attempt to make accommodations.
Hill Country Flyer
Our original and most popular train ride departs from Cedar Park at 10:00am
to Burnet through the Texas Hill Country. Enjoy lunch and shopping
during a two and a half hour layover in Burnet.
Train returns to Cedar Park at 4:30pm. The Hill Country Flyer is operated every Saturday in January and February, most Saturdays and Sundays March-May, and most Saturdays in October and November. (Scheduled departure time may vary to accomodate special events in Burnet. Consult the train schedule for specific departure times on specific dates.)
Coach ticket: Adult $28, Child $18, Senior $25 (Windows can be opened, no heat or air conditioning)
Excursion ticket: Adult $33, Child $23, Senior $30 (Coach seating with heat and A/C)
Bertram Flyer
Our shorter train ride (three hours round-trip) follows the scenic route of the Hill Country Flyer, but
stops at the historic 1912 train station in Bertram. Passengers may tour the depot for the 20 minute stop before reboarding for the return ride to Cedar Park. The Bertram Flyer departs Cedar Park on most Saturdays at 10:00am June-September, and most Sundays at 2:00pm June-November. (Scheduled departure time may vary to accomodate special events in Bertram. Consult the train schedule for specific departure times on specific dates.)
Coach ticket: Adult $17, Child $12, Senior $14 (Windows can be opened, no heat or air conditioning.)
Excursion ticket: Adult $22, Child $17, Senior $19 (Coach seating with heat and A/C)
Celebrate Halloween with a funtastic evening of food, drinks and
entertainment. Wear your costume and join in as Laughing Out Loud
Productions entertains you with the funniest Halloween mystery this side of
the tracks. Ticket price includes meal, beer and wine and 3-hour train
excursion.
Train departs from Cedar Park at 8pm and passengers will remain onboard for the entire time. There is no stopover on this ride.
Some humor may be appropriate for a PG-13 audience.
North Pole Flyer
Our very popular North Pole Flyer train returns in December 2008 with seven excursions bringing the holiday cheer to young and old alike! Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will magically appear on the train again this year, greeting all the children individually and giving each child a commemorative gift to remember the ride. We'll serve hot cocoa and Christmas cookies, and in each car we'll gather the children together for storytime or Christmas carolling.
Celebrate the new year on the train and start 2009 off with a bang! Lounge
passengers enjoy a full service meal, while excursion passengers enjoy our
fun buffet. Complimentary beer, wine, party favors, entertainment and a
champagne toast at midnight are all included in the ticket price.
