Hill Country Flyer  

This popular train ride departs Cedar Park at 10:00am for a two hour journey through the Texas Hill Country to Burnet. Passengers can enjoy lunch and shopping at their own leisure during stopover. The Burnet Gunfighter present their wild west gunfight, weather permitting, at the train station in Burnet before the trains leaves at approximately 2:15 pm to return to Cedar Park. ALL SEATS ARE RESERVED AND ARE PRE-ASSIGNED.

Bertram Flyer  

Our shorter train ride follows the scenic route of the Hill Country Flyer, but stops at the historic 1912 train station in Bertram. Passengers may tour the depot during the 15 minute stop before reboarding for the return ride to Cedar Park. ALL SEATS ARE RESERVED AND ARE PRE-ASSIGNED.

Hill Country Flyer Bluebonnet Festival 
(April 10 & 11, 2010)

The Hill Country Flyer makes an early departure to take passengers to the 26th annual Bluebonnet Festival in Burnet. Spend 4 hours in Burnet before boarding the train at 3:00 p.m. for the trip back to Cedar Park. Information on Bluebonnet Festival activities may be found on the Burnet Chamber of Commerce. ALL SEATS ARE RESERVED AND ARE PRE-ASSIGNED.

A Wild West Murder Mystery  
(June 19 & July 17, 2010)

Black Jack Malloy was once a notorious drinker, gambler, gunfighter and rogue who has left a trail of death, destruction, robbery and broken hearts in his wake - but that's all in his past. Or is it? Most everybody in River City would like to see him dead. They get their chance when he rides the rails on a hot summer night. Passengers may be dodging bullets in this Wild West Murder Mystery!Box meal, beer, wine and soft drinks provided. Ages 17 and up please (NOT FOR CHILDREN). Murder on the Bertram Flyer

The Bertram Flyer steps back to the days of the wild west! JR Luling is a ruthless oil and cattle magnate in Central Texas. His father built the family fortune in the cattle business. JR was lured into the oil business shortly after the Spindletop well was successful in 1901. Before the night is over it may be up to you determine WHO SHOT JR? Bertram Oatmeal Flyer

Step on board the Oatmeal Flyer and travel to Bertram. Arrive just in time to catch the Oatmeal Festival parade! The Oatmeal Flyer departs Cedar Park at 9:00 a.m. and leaves Bertram at 11:45 a.m. The 1 1/2 layover is just enough time to catch the parade and visit the Oatmeal Festival activities.

Murder Most Foul  
(September 18, 2010)

Murder Most Foul - on the Theater Train! A troupe of actors are on their way to Austin to perform Hamlet at the Paramount Theatre when one of them is murdered. The train seems to be full of suspects! Evening includes box dinner, beer and wine and a whodunit mystery with the Capital City Mystery Players. Guests ages 17 and older only please! A Halloween Whodunit on the Bertram Flyer

A wealthy Austin socialite is throwing his annual Halloween party on the Austin Steam Train - the social event of the Fall season - and you're invited. But is someone out to kill him? Hill Country Flyer Main Street Bethlehem 
(December 2010)

Our popular Hill Country Flyer departs at 2:30 p.m. and arrives in Burnet at 4:30 p.m. where passengers can attend Main Street Bethlehem (MSB.) This popular event is hosted by First Baptist Church and is not associated with the Hill Country Flyer. MSB opens at 6:00 p.m. and lines form early so don't wait. Train departs Burnet at 8:00 p.m. to return home to Cedar Park. For more information on MSB please visit fbcburnet.org.

North Pole Flyer 
(December 2010)

The North Pole Flyer train returns bringing our train's very own Christmas story to young and old alike! Each year these trains sell out well in advance so we suggest you purchase your tickets early. Santa Claus will be on board to greet children and adults alike and to give a commemorative souvenir to each child.

Mrs. Claus will give out her special homemade gingerbread cookies to all the passengers, and our storyteller will come through each car to tell the story of the North Pole Flyer. The children in our story are wearing their pajamas and all on board are invited to do the same. The North Pole Flyer is a 2 1/2 hour round-trip. The train does not stop and deboard as all events take place on board the train.
